Who misses Maude?! ^JS twitter.com/bonessrailway/…

#ThrowbackThursday to April 1994 we see 0-6-0 North British Railway Class C No. 673 Maude resting on shed at Bo'ness. Maude has been on display in our @Mus_Scot_Rways for a few years.

Who would like to see her restored to pull trains at B&KR once more?

#LestWeForget #ArmisticeDay twitter.com/bonessrailway/…

BR No. 65243 Maude was sent to serve in France in 1917 and returned to the UK two years later. The loco was named after Lt General Sir Frederick Stanley Maude, who died of cholera in 1917 after commanding troops in France and Mesopotamia. #LestWeForget #ArmisticeDay

Hard to believe this was 2 years ago. What a brilliant #AutumnSteamGala this was! #CaledonianReunion ^JS twitter.com/bonessrailway/…

Here's 828 with our wee bonny CR419, as the locos round their Caledonian Railway carriages to head back down the line to Bo'ness.
