Colvilles Ltd Glengarnock Works N. 6

0-4-0 Crane tank No. 6 (Works No. 2068) Built by Andrew Barclay in 1942 for Clyde Alloy Steel Company, Craigneuk, Wishaw, Lanarkshire. Typical of crane tank designs once common in steelworks, this was Barclay's second last such locomotive. This locomotive has been cosmetically restored to as built condition but with out the dynamo and magnet. All the crane mechanicals are operational (and has been tested on compressed air) and this interesting engine is now on display in the museum.
