uilt by W. G. Bagnall Ltd in 1945 (Works No.2777).
Acquired from NCB Comrie Colliery Fife. This Engine may have been built/assembled for Bagnall by Andrew Barclay in Kilmarnock. This Engine was latterly fitted with a Giesel ejector.
This locomotive is currently nearing the end a major overhaul and is at present rewheeled and in the process of being assembled. The major tasks outstanding include hydraulic and steam tests of the boiler, refurbishment of the crosshead slippers and final machining of the new big end bearings.
The engine is being fitted with a Lempor type exhaust. The Boiler has been fitted with new tubes and should be ready for traffic during the 2010 running season. See news page for latest progress
